The nation of Noah, belied their Messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them: "Will you not take heed? 106 I am for you an honest Messenger, 107 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 Said he: "And what knowledge could I have as to what they were doing [before they came to me]? 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 I am none but a plain warner." 115 'Noah' they replied, 'if you do not desist you shall be of those stoned' 116 He said: my Lord! verily my people have belied me. 117 “Therefore make a decisive judgement between me and them, and rescue me and the believers along with me.” 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then We drowned the rest thereafter. 120 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 121 And thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
