And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
