The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
