The Companions of the Rocky Tract also rejected the messengers: 80 We showed them miracles but they ignored them. 81 They used to hew out houses from the mountains and lived in security. 82 Then the shout took hold of them in the early morn. 83 and whatever they had been earning proved of no avail. 84 We created not the heavens, the earth, and all between them, but for just ends. And the Hour is surely coming (when this will be manifest). So overlook (any human faults) with gracious forgiveness. 85 Your Lord is certainly the All-knowing Creator. 86 AND, INDEED, We have bestowed upon thee seven of the oft repeated [verses,] and [have, thus, laid open before thee] this sublime Qur'an: 87 Do not even cast your eyes towards the worldly goods We have granted to different kinds of people, nor grieve over the state they are in, but turn your loving attention to the believers instead, 88 And proclaim, “Indeed I, yes I, am the clear Herald of Warning.” 89 such as We send down for those who are divisive, 90 those who had split up their Qur'an into pieces. 91 So by your Lord, We will surely question them all 92 Of what they used to do. 93 Therefore proclaim openly (Allah's Message Islamic Monotheism) that which you are commanded, and turn away from Al-Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, and disbelievers, etc. - see V. 2:105). 94 For sufficient are We unto thee against those who scoff,- 95 even against those who set up with God another god. Certainly they will soon know! 96 We do indeed know how thy heart is distressed at what they say. 97 Exalt with the praise of your Lord and be one of those who prostrate. 98 Worship your Lord until you achieve the ultimate certainty. 99
