۞ The Sure Reality! 1 What is the Sure Reality? 2 And what will make you know what the Reality is? 3 Thamud and 'Ad people denied the Qari'ah [the striking Hour (of Judgement)]! 4 the Thamud were destroyed by a terrible storm of thunder and lightning; 5 And as for 'Aad, they were destroyed by a screaming, violent wind 6 Which He imposed on them for seven long nights and eight long days so that thou mightest have seen men lying overthrown, as they were hollow trunks of palm-trees. 7 Now dost thou see any remnant of them? 8 And Pharaoh and those before him, and the communities that were destroyed, brought error, 9 And they disobeyed the Apostle of their Lord, so He punished them with a vehement punishment. 10 When the water rose in flood, We bore you in the ark, 11 That We might make it a remembrance for you, and the keen ear (person) may (hear and) understand it. 12 When a single blast is blown on the trumpet, 13 And the earth and the mountains shall be removed from their places, and crushed with a single crushing, 14 On that day shall the great event come to pass, 15 And the heaven shall be rent in sunder, it on that Day shall be frail. 16 and will turn frail, losing all force. The angels will be around the heavens and on that day eight of them will carry the Throne of your Lord above all the creatures. 17 That will be the Day when you shall be brought forth (before Allah) and no secret of yours shall remain hidden. 18 Then he that will be given his Record in his right hand will say: "Ah here! Read ye my Record! 19 Verily I was sure that I should be a meeter of my reckoning. 20 so he will live in a state of Bliss 21 in an exalted garden 22 its clusters nigh to gather. 23 Such people will be told, "Eat and drink with pleasure as the reward for what you did in the past". 24 And as for him who is given his book in his left hand he shall say: O would that my book had never been given me: 25 and neither known this my account! 26 Oh! Would that the death that came to me in the world had made an end of me! 27 My riches have not availed me, 28 “All my power has vanished.” 29 (A command will be issued): “Seize him and shackle him, 30 Then throw him in the blazing Fire. 31 And then insert him in a chain whereof the length is seventy cubits. 32 for he did not believe in Almighty God, 33 And urged not on the feeding of Al-Miskin (the poor), 34 Wherefore for him here this Day there is no friend. 35 and no food except pus 36 None will eat it except the sinners. 37
