The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ GOD'S JUDGMENT is [bound to] come: do not, therefore, call for its speedy advent! Limitless is He in His glory and sublimely exalted above anything to which men may ascribe a share in His divinity! 1 He doth send down His angels with inspiration of His Command, to such of His servants as He pleaseth, (saying): "Warn (Man) that there is no god but I: so do your duty unto Me." 2 He hath created the heavens and the earth with a purpose. Exalted is He above that which they associate. 3 He created man from a sperm-drop; then at once, he is a clear adversary. 4 And the cattle hath He created, whence ye have warm clothing and uses, and whereof ye eat; 5 and you find beauty in them when you drive them home in the evenings and when you take them out to pasture in the mornings. 6 They carry your loads to a land which you could not otherwise reach except by painful toil to oneself. Your Lord is the Clement, the Most Merciful. 7 (He has created for you) horses, mules, and donkeys, which you ride and as an adornment; and He creates what you do not know. 8 To God leads the right path, though some deviate. If He willed He could guide you all to the right way. 9
