Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 He raised it high and leveled it, 28 And He made dark its night and brought out its light. 29 and the earth which He spread out, 30 and brought out of it its water and its pasture, 31 And the mountains hath He firmly fixed;- 32 All this was done as a means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 33 But when the great disaster cometh, 34 The Day whereon man shall remember whatsoever he had striven for. 35 And hell will be made visible to all those who can see. 36 then as for him who was insolent 37 And preferred the worldly life, 38 will find himself in Hell; 39 But as for him who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained himself from impure evil desires, and lusts. 40 Verily the Garden! that shall be his resort. 41 They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival? 42 Wherein art thou concerned with the declaration thereof! 43 To your Lord is its finality. 44 Thou art only the warner of him who fears it. 45 On the Day they see it, they will feel as though they had stayed (in the grave) no more than one evening or one morning. 46
