Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When heaven is split open, 1 And when the stars become dispersed, 2 And when the oceans are swept away. 3 And when the graves are turned upside down (and they bring out their contents) 4 Each soul will know what it had sent ahead and what it had left behind. 5 O Man! What deceived thee as to thy generous Lord 6 who created you, formed you and proportioned you? 7 Into whatsoever form He will, He casteth thee. 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 watching over you 11 Who know (all) that ye do. 12 The pious will surely be in heaven, 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 They will burn in it on the Day of Judgement, 15 and which they shall not [be able to] evade. 16 And what could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 17 Again, what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 18 It is the Day when no soul can do a thing for another soul. That Day, the command belongs to Allah. 19
Almighty Allah's Truth.
