The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
I swear by the early hours of the day, 1 And the night when dark and still, 2 Thy Lord has neither forsaken thee nor hates thee 3 And indeed the latter is better for you than the former. 4 And soon will your Lord give you so that you shall be well pleased. 5 Found He not thee an orphan, so He sheltered thee? 6 Did He not find you perplexed, and show you the way? 7 Did He not find thee needy, and suffice thee? 8 Therefore, the orphan shalt thou never wrong, 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 and of thy Sustainer's blessings shalt thou [ever] speak. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
