Surely the people of al-Hijr also rejected the Messengers, calling them liars. 80 We gave them Our signs, but they turned away from them. 81 They carved out dwellings in the mountains, and lived in security -- 82 But the (mighty) Blast seized them of a morning, 83 and whatever they had been earning proved of no avail. 84 And We have not created the heaven and the earth and that which is in between them save with a purpose. And verily the Hour is surely coming; so overlook thou with a seemly overlooking, 85 Lo! Thy Lord! He is the All-Wise Creator. 86 (Muhammad), We have given you the seven most repeated (verses) and the great Quran. 87 Do not extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [certain] categories of the disbelievers, and do not grieve over them. And lower your wing to the believers 88 and say, 'Surely, I am the manifest warner.' 89 Like as We sent down on the dividers 90 who have broken the Koran into parts, 91 Therefore, by the Lord, We will, of a surety, call them to account, 92 Of what they used to do. 93 Therefore proclaim openly (Allah's Message Islamic Monotheism) that which you are commanded, and turn away from Al-Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, and disbelievers, etc. - see V. 2:105). 94 Surely We will suffice you against the scoffers 95 Who place other gods besides God. They will come to know soon. 96 Indeed, We know that your breast is straitened at what they say. 97 So hallow thou the praise of thy Lord, and be thou of the prostrate. 98 and worship your Lord until what is certain [death] comes to you. 99
