The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I swear by those who draw themselves out in ranks 1 By the angels driving away. 2 and those who recite the Remembrance 3 Verily your Ilah (God) is indeed One (i.e. Allah); 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, and Lord of the easts. 5 We have indeed adorned the lowest heaven with stars as ornaments. 6 and have protected it from every rebellious satan. 7 They cannot listen to the Highest Chiefs for they are pelted from every side, 8 driven away, and will suffer eternal punishment. 9 Except such as snatch away something by stealth, and they are pursued by a flaming fire, of piercing brightness. 10 So, ask those who deny the truth if it was harder to create them than all the other things We have created? We created them from sticky clay. 11 No wonder you are surprised as they laugh with scorn. 12 And when they are admonished, they receive not admonition. 13 And whenever they see a sign, they mock at it. 14 and they say, 'This is nothing but manifest sorcery. 15 What! when we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then certainly be raised, 16 And our forefathers? 17 Say, "Yes indeed, and you will be brought low." 18 There is but one Shout, and lo! they behold, 19 And will say, “O our misfortune!” It will be said to them, “This is the Day of Justice.” 20 “Yes, this is the Day of Final Decision that you used to deny as a lie.” 21
