Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When heaven is split open, 1 When the planets are dispersed, 2 And when the seas are made to flow forth, 3 And when the graves are ransacked, 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O man! what hath beguiled thee concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias; 7 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. 8 Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment! 9 And most surely there are keepers over you 10 The honourable recorders. 11 who know whatever you do. 12 The pious will surely be in heaven, 13 And lo! the wicked verily will be in hell; 14 which they shall enter on the Day of Judgement, 15 to burn therein. 16 And what could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 17 Again, what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 18 The day on which no soul shall control anything for (another) soul; and the command on that day shall be entirely Allah's. 19
