Lo! those who ward off (evil) are among gardens and watersprings. 45 Enter therein in peace, secure. 46 We shall remove all hatred from their breasts and make them as brothers reclining on thrones facing one another. 47 They shall face no fatigue in it, nor shall they ever be driven out of it. 48 ۞ Inform My bondmen that undoubtedly, I surely am the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful. 49 and that My punishment is a painful punishment. 50 Inform them about the matter of Abraham's guests. 51 When they came to him and said: "Peace," he answered: "Truly we are afraid of you." 52 Said they: "Fear not! Behold, we bring thee the glad tiding of [the birth of] a son who will be endowed with deep knowledge." 53 He said: Do you give me good news (of a son) when old age has come upon me?-- Of what then do you give me good news! 54 They said: We bring thee good tidings in truth. So be not thou of the despairing. 55 He said: "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, but such as go astray?" 56 And asked them: "What matter, O angels, brings you here?" 57 They said: "We have been sent to a people (deep) in sin, 58 “Except the family of Lut; we shall rescue all of them.” 59 excepting only his wife, [of whom God says,] 'We have ordained [that,] behold, she should be among those who stay behind!' 60
