T H (Taa Haa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta Ha. 1 We have not revealed the Quran to you that you may be unsuccessful. 2 Except as a reminder for one who fears. 3 Sent down by One Who created the earth and the lofty heavens. 4 The Beneficent Allah is firm in power. 5 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on the earth, and all that is between them, and all that is under the soil. 6 And if you (O Muhammad SAW) speak (the invocation) aloud, then verily, He knows the secret and that which is yet more hidden. 7 Allah - there is no deity except Him. To Him belong the best names. 8 And has the story of Moses reached you? - 9 When he saw the fire, he said to his family, "Wait here for I can see a fire. Perhaps I shall bring you a burning torch or find a way to some fire". 10 And when he came to it (the fire), he was called by name: "O Musa (Moses)! 11 Surely I am your Lord, therefore put off your shoes; surely you are in the sacred valley, Tuwa, 12 "And I have chosen you. So listen to that which is inspired to you. 13 "Verily! I am Allah! La ilaha illa Ana (none has the right to be worshipped but I), so worship Me, and perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat) for My Remembrance. 14 Surely the hour is coming-- I am about to make it manifest-- so that every soul may be rewarded as it strives: 15 Therefor, let not him turn thee aside from (the thought of) it who believeth not therein but followeth his own desire, lest thou perish. 16 “And what is this in your right hand, O Moosa?” 17 'It is my staff," Moses replied, "upon it I lean and with it I beat down leaves to feed my sheep and for me there are other uses in it' 18 He said: "Moses, throw it down." 19 He cast it down, and behold! It was a snake, moving quickly. 20 Then He said: "Seize it and have no fear. We shall restore it to its former state. 21 Now, put your hand under your armpit. It shall come out white, without evil, a second sign. 22 so that We might make thee aware of some of Our greatest wonders. 23 Go to Pharaoh; he has waxed insolent.' 24
