۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 Then Pharaoh sent gatherers to the cities. 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 they have enraged us, 55 "But we are host all assembled, amply forewarned." 56 So We removed them from gardens and springs 57 And treasures and goodly dwellings, 58 So it was; and We made the Descendants of Israel its inheritors. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and, when the two hosts sighted each other, the companions of Moses said, 'We are overtaken!' 61 Said Moosa, “Never! Indeed my Lord is with me, He will now show me the way.” 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 We delivered Moses and every one with him, 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 Your Lord is certainly Majestic and All-merciful. 68
