The men of the Thicket cried lies to the Envoys 176 When Shu'aib said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 177 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 178 so fear God, and obey me. 179 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 180 ۞ “Measure in full, and do not be of those who reduce.” 181 And weigh (things) with a right balance, 182 Wrong not mankind in their goods, and do not evil, making mischief, in the earth. 183 and have fear of Him Who created you and the earlier generations." 184 They said: thou art but of the bewitched; 185 you are only a mortal like us. Indeed we believe that you are an utter liar. 186 So cause a fragment of the sky to fall on us, if you are truthful." 187 He said, "My Lord knows all that you do." 188 They rejected him, and then had to suffer the punishment of a day of overshadowing gloom. That was indeed the punishment of an awful day. 189 In this there is an evidence of the Truth, but many of them did not have any faith. 190 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 191
