Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Ya, Seen. 1 By the wise Qur'an, 2 That you are indeed one of those sent 3 On a straight path. 4 A revelation from the mighty, ever-merciful (God), 5 That thou mayst warn a folk whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 The Word is proved true against the greater part of them: for they do not believe. 7 Verily We have placed on their necks shackles which are up to the chins; so that their heads are forced up. 8 And We have set a wall before them and a wall behind them, and covered the top – so they are unable to see anything. 9 And it is alike unto them, whether thou warnest them or warnest them not; they shall not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the Reminder (the Quran), and fears the Most Beneficent (Allah) unseen. Bear you to such one the glad tidings of forgiveness, and a generous reward (i.e. Paradise). 11 Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register. 12
