۞ Say: "O creatures of God, those of you who have acted against your own interests should not be disheartened of the mercy of God. Surely God forgives all sins. He is all-forgiving and all-merciful. 53 “And incline towards your Lord and submit to Him, before the punishment comes you and then you may not be helped.” 54 Follow the best of what has been revealed to you from your Lord before the chastisement suddenly comes upon you without you even being aware of it.” 55 Lest a soul should say: "Alas, I was heedless of God and only laughed;" 56 Or it should say: Had Allah guided me, I would certainly have been of those who guard (against evil); 57 Or, lest when it sees the punishment should say: 'O that I might return, and be among those that did good' 58 It will be said to him, “Surely yes, why not?* My signs did come to you, so you denied them and you were haughty and you were a disbeliever.” (They will be mocked at.) 59 On the Day of Judgment wilt thou see those who told lies against Allah;- their faces will be turned black; Is there not in Hell an abode for the Haughty? 60 But God will safeguard all who were conscious of Him, [and will grant them happiness] by virtue of their [inner] triumphs; no evil shall ever touch them, and neither shall they grieve. 61 God is the creator of all things, and He is the guarantor of all things. 62 His are the keys of the heavens and the earth and those who disbelieve in the revelations of Allah - those! they are the losers. 63
