Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Perish the two hands of Abu Lahab (an uncle of the Prophet), and perish he! 1 His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained. 2 He shall soon enter a Blazing Fire, 3 along with his wife, that carrier of slanderous tales; 4 A rope made from palm fibre around her neck! 5

Almighty Allah's Truth.
