But the godfearing shall be amidst gardens and fountains: 45 [Having been told], "Enter it in peace, safe [and secure]." 46 We shall remove all rancor from their hearts, and as brethren they shall recline on couches face to face. 47 They will not be affected by any weariness there, and they will never be made to leave." 48 ۞ Inform My bondmen that undoubtedly, I surely am the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful. 49 And that it is My punishment which is the painful punishment. 50 AND TELL THEM [once again] about Abraham's guests 51 who came to him saying, "Peace be with you." Abraham said, "We are afraid of you". 52 They said: Be not afraid! Lo! we bring thee good tidings of a boy possessing wisdom. 53 He said, 'What, do you give me good tidings, though old age has smitten me? Of what do you 54 They said: We give you good news with truth, therefore be not of the despairing. 55 "Who would despair of the mercy of his Lord," he answered, "but those who go astray." 56 Messengers, what is your task?" 57 They said, "We have been sent forth to a guilty people." 58 "Excepting the adherents of Lut: them we are certainly (charged) to save (from harm),- All - 59 "Except his wife, of whom We have decreed that she shall be of those who remain behind (i.e. she will be destroyed)." 60
