SAY: "O my Sustainer! If it be Thy will to let me witness [the fulfillment of] whatever they [who blaspheme against Thee] have been promised [to suffer] 93 exclude me from the unjust people". 94 Surely We are able to show you what We warn them against. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We know that which they describe. 96 And say: My Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from suggestions of the evil ones, 97 And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me." 98 (In Falsehood will they be) Until, when death comes to one of them, he says: "O my Lord! send me back (to life),- 99 haply I shall do righteousness in that I forsook.' Nay, it is but a word he speaks; and there; behind them, is a barrier until the day that they shall be raised up. 100 When the trumpet blast is sounded no ties of lineage will hold among them, nor will they ask after one another. 101 then those whose scales weigh heavy with good works will be successful. 102 But those whose scales are light - those are the ones who have lost their souls, [being] in Hell, abiding eternally. 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they will remain dejected in it. 104 "Were not My Signs rehearsed to you, and ye did but treat them as falsehood?" 105 They will answer, "Lord, misfortune overcame us and we became an erring people. 106 Lord, take us out of this and if we sin again, we shall certainly be unjust". 107 He will say: "Be ye driven into it (with ignominy)! And speak ye not to Me! 108 Among My worshipers there were a party who said: "Lord, we believed. Forgive us and have mercy on us: You are the Best of the merciful." 109 "But ye treated them with ridicule, so much so that (ridicule of) them made you forget My Message while ye were laughing at them! 110 I have rewarded them this day for they were constant, and they have come to attainment." 111 Then Allah will ask them: "For how many years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will reply. "We remained for about a day or part of it, but ask those who have kept count". 113 He will say, "You stayed not but a little - if only you had known. 114 Then did you think that We created you uselessly and that to Us you would not be returned?" 115 Now Allah be Exalted, the True King! There is no Allah save Him, the Lord of the Throne of Grace. 116 And the one who worships any other God along with Allah – of which he does not have any proof – his account is with his Lord; indeed there is no salvation for the disbelievers. 117 And say thou: my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones. 118
