Blessed is He Who, if He please, will give you what is better than this, gardens beneath which rivers flow, and He will give you palaces. 10 Nay they deny the hour (of the judgment to come): but We have prepared a blazing fire for such as deny the hour: 11 when it shall face them from afar, they will hear its angry roar and its hiss; 12 and when they are flung, linked [all] together, into a tight space within, they will pray for extinction there and then! 13 It will be said “Do not pray this day for one death – and pray for many deaths.” 14 Say: (O Muhammad SAW) "Is that (torment) better or the Paradise of Eternity promised to the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2)?" It will be theirs as a reward and as a final destination. 15 They shall have therein what they desire abiding (in it); it is a promise which it is proper to be prayed for from your Lord. 16 Upon the day when He shall muster them and that they serve, apart from God, and He shall say, 'Was it you that led these My servants astray, or did they themselves err from the way?' 17 They will say: "Glorified be You! It was not for us to take any Auliya' (Protectors, Helpers, etc.) besides You, but You gave them and their fathers comfort till they forgot the warning, and became a lost people (doomed to total loss). 18 Thus they will give you the lie regarding what ye say, then ye can neither avert (the doom) nor obtain help. And whoso among you doeth wrong, We shall make him taste great torment. 19 And the messengers whom We sent before thee were all (men) who ate food and walked through the streets: We have made some of you as a trial for others: will ye have patience? for Allah is One Who sees (all things). 20
