We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
