▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ No! I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 Most surely it is an honored Quran, 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 which none but the pure [of heart] can touch: 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 Whereas you watch at that moment! 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 Then why is it not-- if you are not held under authority-- 86 why are you then not able to bring them back to life if you are truthful? 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 Then is relief, and flowers – and Gardens of peace. 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 he will be welcomed by the words: “Peace to you” from the People on the Right. 91 But if one happens to be of those who are wont to call the truth a lie, and [thus] go astray, 92 For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water. 93 And burning in Hellfire 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) proclaim the Purity of the name of your Lord, the Greatest. 96
God the Almighty always says the truth.
