Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
