In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Read with the name of your Lord Who created, 1 Created man from a clinging substance. 2 Read, for your Lord is most beneficent, 3 Who taught by the pen - 4 Taught man what he knew not. 5 And yet, but yet man is rebellious, 6 for he thinks himself self-sufficient. 7 However, (all things) will return to your Lord. 8 Have you seen one who prevents 9 a servant (of Allah) when he prays? 10 Hast thou seen if he relieth on the guidance (of Allah) 11 Or had enjoined piety, (it would have been better)? 12 Hast thou considered whether he may [not] be giving the lie to the truth and turning his back [upon it]? 13 Knows he not that Allah does see (what he does)? 14 By no means! If he desist not We shall seize and deal him by the forelock 15 A lying, sinful forehead. 16 Then, let him call (for help) to his council (of comrades): 17 We shall call on the guards of Hell. 18 No! Do not obey him. But prostrate and draw near [to Allah]. ۩ 19
