Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the chargers panting, 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
