۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 Then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 "And verily, they have done what has enraged us; 55 But we are a numerous host, ever on guard." 56 Then We drave them forth from gardens and springs. 57 And treasures and goodly dwellings, 58 So it was; and We made the Descendants of Israel its inheritors. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Musa said: by no means; verily with me is my Lord; He shall guide me. 62 Thereupon We inspired Moses thus: Strike the sea with thy staff!" - whereupon it parted, and each part appeared like a mountain vast. 63 Then We brought the two parties closer. 64 And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
