And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
