Kingship (Al-Mulk)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Blessed be He in Whose hands is Dominion; and He over all things hath Power;- 1 [He] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed - and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving - 2 Who created the seven heavens one above another; you see no incongruity in the creation of the Beneficent Allah; then look again, can you see any disorder? 3 Then return thy gaze again, and again, and thy gaze comes back to thee dazzled, aweary. 4 And We have certainly beautified the nearest heaven with stars and have made [from] them what is thrown at the devils and have prepared for them the punishment of the Blaze. 5 And for those who disbelieve in their Lord there awaits the punishment of Gehenna (Hell) an evil arrival! 6 They will hear it hissing when they will be thrown into it, and it is boiling. 7 It almost bursts with rage. Every time a company is thrown into it, its keepers ask them, "Did there not come to you a warner?" 8 'Yes, indeed' they will reply, 'but we belied the Warner (Messenger) saying: 'Allah has not sent down anything, you are but in great error' 9 They will say, "If we had only listened or understood, we should not now be among the inmates of Hell," 10 Then they will confess their sin. So, away with the dwellers of the blazing Fire. 11 (As for) those who fear their Lord in secret, they shall surely have forgiveness and a great reward. 12 Whether you conceal what you say or reveal it, God knows best all that the hearts contain. 13 How could He who created not know His own creation, when He alone is the Most Subtle in His wisdom and the All Aware? 14
