So I swear by what you see 38 and by what you do not see, 39 Behold, this [Qur'an] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 40 It is not poet's speech - little is it that ye believe! 41 Nor is it the speech of a soothsayer; how little do you ponder! 42 It has been revealed by the Lord of the Universe. 43 And if he had invented false sayings concerning Us, 44 We should certainly seize him by his right hand, 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein. 46 and not one of you would have been able to withhold Us from doing so. 47 And verily, this Quran is a Reminder for the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2). 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 29, Page 68] 49 And lo! it is indeed an anguish for the disbelievers. 50 for, verily, it is truth absolute! 51 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
