Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.
