Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The craving for excess wealth kept you people neglectful. 1 Until ye visit the graves. 2 But no, indeed, you shall soon know. 3 But you will soon come to know. 4 And yet if you knew with positive knowledge 5 you would see the fire of Hell. 6 Then you will surely see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then, on that day, you will surely be questioned regarding the favours. 8

Almighty Allah's Truth.
