O ye messengers! Eat of the good things, and do right. Lo! I am Aware of what ye do. 51 And lo! this your religion is one religion and I am your Lord, so keep your duty unto Me. 52 But they cut off their religion among themselves into sects, each part rejoicing in that which is with them. 53 So leave them to their ignorance for a time. 54 Do they think that by all the wealth and offspring with which We provide them 55 have no other purpose except to help them in acquiring material benefits? No indeed. But they do not understand. 56 Lo! those who go in awe for fear of their Lord. 57 And they who believe in the signs of their Lord 58 Who do not associate any one with their Lord, 59 And those who give whatsoever they give, while their hearts are anxious that unto their Lord they are to be returners. 60 those vie in good works, outracing to them. 61 We charge no soul with more than it can bear. We have a Book with Us which speaks the truth, and they shall not be wronged. 62 Nay, their hearts are lost in ignorance of all this; and their deeds too vary from the way (mentioned above). They will persist in these deeds 63 Until when We seize their affluent ones with punishment, at once they are crying [to Allah] for help. 64 Implore not today; verily ye from Us are not to be succoured. 65 Time and again were My messages conveyed unto you, but [every time] you would turn about on your heels 66 Insolently, treating them like tales told at night." 67 Have they not pondered the matter, or did that come to them, which did not come to their forefathers? 68 Or know they not their messenger, and so reject him? 69 Or do they say: There is madness in him? Nay! he has brought them the truth, and most of them are averse from the truth. 70 And should the truth follow their low desires, surely the heavens and the earth and all those who are therein would have perished. Nay! We have brought to them their reminder, but from their reminder they turn aside. 71 Or is it that thou askest them for some recompense? But the recompense of thy Lord is best: He is the Best of those who give sustenance. 72 And most surely you invite them to a right way. 73 And most surely those who do not believe in the hereafter are deviating from the way. 74 ۞ And though We have mercy on them We may remove whatsoever of hurt is with them, surely they would persist in their exorbitance, wandering perplexed. 75 And assuredly We took hold of them with the torment, yet they humbled not themselves to their Lord, nor did they entreat. 76 Until when We shall open upon them a portal of severe torment, and lo! thereat they are desparing. 77
