۞ So I swear by Mawaqi (setting or the mansions, etc.) of the stars (they traverse). 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 (Inscribed) in the well-kept Book. 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Do you then hold this announcement in contempt? 81 Would you reject the sustenance that you receive rather than give thanks? 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 and that hour you are watching 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 why then, if you are not revived, 86 do you not restore his soul, if you are truthful? 87 Then, if he be of those brought nigh the Throne, 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 And if he is of those on the right hand, 90 he will be welcomed by the words: “Peace to you” from the People on the Right. 91 If it is of those who have rejected the Truth and have gone astray, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 and a roasting in Hell. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 Then praise your Lord, the most supreme. 96
Almighty God's Truth.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
