They will question thee concerning the mountains. Say: 'My Lord will scatter them as ashes; 105 "Then He shall leave it as a level smooth plain. 106 with neither hollows nor upthrust mounds to be seen. 107 That Day they shall follow the caller for whom there shall be no crookedness; and voices shall be humbled for the Compassionate; so that thou shalt not hear ought except pattering 108 On that day no one's intercession will be of any benefit unless he has received permission from the Beneficent God and whose word is acceptable to Him. 109 He knows all that is before them and all that is behind them, whereas their knowledge cannot encompass it. 110 ۞ And downcast will be faces before the Living, the Self-subsisting, and disappointed will be he who beareth a wrong. 111 And he who hath done some good works, being a believer, he feareth not injustice nor begrudging (of his wage). 112 And thus We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur'an and have diversified therein the warnings that perhaps they will avoid [sin] or it would cause them remembrance. 113 Therefore Supreme is Allah, the True King; and do not hasten in the Qur’an (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) until its divine revelation has been completed to you; and pray, “My Lord, bestow me more knowledge.” 114 We had already, beforehand, taken the covenant of Adam, but he forgot: and We found on his part no firm resolve. 115
