Noah's folk denied the messengers (of Allah), 105 When their brother Nuh said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 106 I am for you a faithful Messenger, 107 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 110 ۞ They said: Shall we believe in you while the meanest follow you? 111 He said: "And what knowledge have I of what they used to do? 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 "And I am not going to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner. 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 He said: "My Lord! Verily, my people have belied me. 117 “Therefore make a decisive judgement between me and them, and rescue me and the believers along with me.” 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 121 surely your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 122
