1/2 Hizb 45

۞ (Then will the command be given): “Muster all the wrong-doers and their spouses and the deities whom they used to serve 22 Other than Allah, and guide them to the path of Hellfire 23 and detain them there; they will be called to account. 24 "Why help you not one another?" 25 Nay, but on that Day they would willingly surrender [to God]; 26 but [since it will be too late,] they will turn upon one another, demanding of each other [to relieve them of the burden of their past sins]. 27 They will say: "It was ye who used to come to us from the right hand (of power and authority)!" 28 They will say: "No, you were the ones who would not believe. 29 "Nor had we any authority over you. Nay, it was ye who were a people in obstinate rebellion! 30 So our Lord's Word is realised against us; we are tasting it. 31 So we led you astray; we ourselves were strayed.” 32 So they shall on that day be sharers in the chastisement one with another. 33 That is how We deal with sinners. 34 Truly, when it was said to them: La ilaha ill-Allah "(none has the right to be worshipped but Allah)," they puffed themselves up with pride (i.e. denied it). 35 saying, 'What, shall we forsake our gods for a poet possessed?' 36 In fact he has brought the Truth, and testified for the Noble Messengers! 37 Indeed, you [disbelievers] will be tasters of the painful punishment, 38 Ye are requited naught save what ye did - 39 But the chosen servants of God; 40 there is waiting for them a known provision; 41 a variety of delicious fruits; and they shall be honoured 42 In Gardens of Felicity, 43 (Sitting) on couches, face to face, 44 They will be served with a cup full of crystal clear wine, 45 white, a delight to the drinkers, 46 Neither they will have Ghoul (any kind of hurt, abdominal pain, headache, a sin, etc.) from that, nor will they suffer intoxication therefrom. 47 And with them will be women limiting [their] glances, with large, [beautiful] eyes, 48 [as free of faults] as if they were hidden [ostrich] eggs. 49 And some of them draw near unto others, mutually questioning. 50 A speaker from among them shall say: Surely I had a comrade of mine, 51 Who used to say: "Are you among those who believe (in resurrection after death). 52 [that] after we have died and become mere dust and bones we shall, forsooth, be brought to judgment?"' 53 He shall say: Will you look on? 54 Then he will look downwards, and will see him in the depths of Hell. 55 He says, 'By God, wellnigh thou didst destroy me; 56 "Had it not been for the Grace of my Lord, I should certainly have been among those brought (there)! 57 Is it then that we are not going to die, 58 except for our first death? And shall we suffer no chastisement?'” 59 This is certainly the greatest triumph 60 For the like of this let the workers [on earth] work. 61 Is this not a better reward than the tree of Zaqqum 62 which We have made as a test for the wrongdoers. 63 It is a tree that grows in the nethermost part of Hell. 64 and its fruits are like the heads of devils. 65 They will eat and fill their bellies with it, 66 Then after it, indeed for them is the drink of boiling hot water. 67 Then most surely their return shall be to hell. 68 They had indeed found their forefathers astray. 69 and rushed to follow them. 70 Thus, indeed, most of the people of old went astray before them, 71 And certainly We sent among them warners. 72 Therefore see what sort of fate befell those who were warned! 73 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 74
