The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the Terror descends 1 Then none will be able to deny its occurrence. 2 (it will) abase (some) and exalt (others). 3 When the earth is violently shaken 4 and the mountains fragmented 5 So that they shall be as scattered dust. 6 And you will become divided into three categories. 7 The People on the Right: and how fortunate will be the People on the Right! 8 And those on the left how (wretched) are those on the left! 9 The third to the fore shall be the foremost. 10 Who will be honoured 11 In the Gardens of Pleasure, 12 A multitude from the ancients. 13 And a few of those (foremost) will be from the later time (generations). 14 On thrones decorated, 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 They will be served by immortal boys, 17 with goblets and ewers and a cup filled with a drink drawn from a running spring, 18 by which their minds will not be clouded and which will not make them drunk; 19 with fruits of their own choice 20 And with flesh of fowls from that which they desire. 21 They will have maidens with large, lovely black and white eyes, 22 Like unto Pearls well-guarded. 23 All this shall be theirs as a reward for their deeds. 24 Therein they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 Only a saying: "Peace, peace." 26 And those on the Right Hand, Who will be those on the Right Hand? 27 (They will be) among Lote-trees without thorns, 28 And clusters of banana plants. 29 and shade extended, 30 and flowing water 31 and fruit abounding, 32 never-failing and never out of reach. 33 And [with them will be their] spouses, raised high: 34 We have created (their Companions) of special creation. 35 and We made them spotless virgins, 36 Lovers, friends, 37 For the sake of the companions of the right hand. 38

Notes and Instructions
Read the entire Holy Quran in full color, where pages randomly generate their colors and shapes so that the same scheme never repeats twice.
When reading ColorfulQuran.com on mobile or tablet devices, you may rotate the screen to enlarge or reduce the script.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
