The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 He who fears will mind, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
