Say: 'Journey in the land, then behold how was the end of them that cried lies.' 11 Say thou: whose is whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth? Say thou: Allah's. He hath prescribed mercy for Himself. Surely He shall gather you together on the Day of Judgement whereof there is no doubt. Those who have lost themselves shall not believe. 12 ۞ And to Him belongs that which reposes by night and by day, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 13 Say: "Am I to take for my master anyone but God, the Originator of the heavens and the earth, when it is He who gives nourishment and Himself needs none?" Say: "I am bidden to be foremost among those who surrender themselves unto God, and not to be among those who ascribe divinity to aught beside Him." 14 Say: "If I disobey my Lord, I fear the punishment of a grievous Day." 15 Indeed Allah’s mercy has been upon him, from whom the punishment has been averted on that Day; and this is the clear success. 16 And if Allah should touch you with adversity, there is no remover of it except Him. And if He touches you with good - then He is over all things competent. 17 He is the Conqueror over His worshipers. He is the Wise, the Aware. 18 Say (O Muhammad): What thing is of most weight in testimony? Say: Allah is Witness between me and you. And this Qur'an hath been inspired in me, that I may warn therewith you and whomsoever it may reach. Do ye in sooth bear witness that there are gods beside Allah? Say: I bear no such witness. Say: He is only One Allah. Lo! I am innocent of that which ye associate (with Him). 19 Those whom We have given the Book will recognize this just as they recognize their own ofspring; but those who have courted their own ruin will not believe. 20
