۞ Say: 'O My worshipers, who have sinned excessively against themselves, do not despair of the Mercy of Allah, surely, Allah forgives all sins. He is the Forgiver, the Most Merciful. 53 "Turn ye to our Lord (in repentance) and bow to His (Will), before the Penalty comes on you: after that ye shall not be helped. 54 "And follow the best of that which is sent down to you from your Lord (i.e. this Quran, do what it orders you to do and keep away from what it forbids), before the torment comes on you suddenly while you perceive not!" 55 Lest a soul should say: "Alas, I was heedless of God and only laughed;" 56 Or, lest it should say: had Allah but guided me, I should surely have been of the God-fearing! 57 Or (so that no soul) may say when it beholds the punishment, “If only I may be sent back, so that I may do good deeds!” 58 Why, My revelations had come to you, but you denied them and were filled with pride, and were among the disbelievers. 59 And on the Day of Judgment thou Shalt see those who lied against Allah - their faces blackened. Is not in Hell the abode of the stiff-necked? 60 And Allah will save those who feared Him by their attainment; no evil will touch them, nor will they grieve. 61 Allah is Creator of all things, and He is Guardian over all things. 62 For Him only are the keys of the heavens and the earth; and those who denied the signs of Allah – it is they who are the losers. 63
