The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By oath of the heaven which contains the constellations. 1 And [by] the promised Day 2 And the witness and the witnessed, 3 may the people be condemned those who tortured (the believers) in ditches 4 Full of fire fed by faggots, 5 When they sat by it, 6 witnessing what they were doing. 7 They had nothing against them, except that they believed in Allah, the All-Mighty, Worthy of all Praise! 8 Him to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness to all things. 9 Surely for those who persecute believers, men and women, and do not repent afterwards, is the punishment of Hell, and the punishment of burning. 10 As for those who believed and acted righteously, theirs shall be Gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great triumph. 11 The grip of your Lord is severe indeed! 12 It is verily He who initiates and repeats. 13 and He is the Forgiving and Loving One. 14 Lord of the Arsh, the Glorious, 15 The Doer of whatever He wants. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 Of the Fir'awn and the Thamud? 18 But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial, 19 And Allah encompasses them on every side. 20 Aye! it is a Recitation glorious, 21 In the Preserved Tablet. 22
