Say: My Lord! If Thou shouldst show me that which they are promised. 93 "My Lord! Then (save me from Your Punishment), and put me not amongst the people who are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doing)." 94 And most surely We are well able to make you see what We threaten them with. 95 Repel thou the evil with that which is fairer. We Ourselves know very well that they describe. 96 And submit, “My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the instigation of the devils.” 97 I seek refuge in You lest they come to me." 98 [AS FOR THOSE who will not believe in the life to come, they go on lying to themselves] until, when death approaches any of them, he prays: "O my Sustainer! Let me return, let me return [to life,] 99 so that I might act righteously in whatever I have failed [aforetime]!" Nay, it is indeed but a [meaningless] word that he utters: for behind those [who leave the world] there is a barrier [of death] until the Day when all will be raised from the dead! 100 So when the Trumpet is blown – so there will neither be any relationship among them* that day, nor will they ask about one another. (The disbelievers) 101 And those whose scales are heavy [with good deeds] - it is they who are the successful. 102 and those whose scales are light, those will be the ones who will have courted loss. They will abide in Hell. 103 The Fire will burn their faces, and therein they will grin, with displaced lips (disfigured). 104 "Are you not those to whom My revelations were recited, and you dubbed them as lies?" 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our wretchedness overcame us, and we were (an) erring people. 106 Our Lord, remove us from it, and if we were to return [to evil], we would indeed be wrongdoers." 107 Allah will say: "Away from Me; stay where you are and do not address Me. 108 Among My servants, there were those who said, "Lord, We believe, so forgive us and have mercy on us. You are the best one to show mercy." 109 But you took them for a laughingstock, so much so that they made you forget My Remembrance while you used to laugh at them! 110 Verily! I have rewarded them this Day for their patience, they are indeed the ones that are successful. 111 [And] He will ask [the doomed]: "What number of years have you spent on earth?" 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day: but ask those who keep account." 113 He will say, “You stayed but only a little, if you knew.” 114 Then did you think that We created you uselessly and that to Us you would not be returned?" 115 So Exalted be Allah, the True King, La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Lord of the Supreme Throne! 116 And whosoever calls upon another god with God, whereof he has no proof, his reckoning is with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not prosper. 117 And say, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, forgive us and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful." 118
