۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 Then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 who have enraged us greatly. 55 But we are a fully accounted army." 56 So We expelled them from gardens, springs, 57 And treasures and agreeable mansions. 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Moses replied: "By no means. My Lord is with me. He will show me the way." 62 Then We told Moses by inspiration: "Strike the sea with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And We brought the others close to that place. 64 and We delivered Moses and his companions, all of them, 65 and drowned the other party. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 68
