The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
182 verses, revealed in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the aligners (angels) aligning. 1 by those who drive away the devil (to protect Our revelation), 2 And by oath of the groups that read the Qur’an. 3 surely your God is One, 4 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them, and the Sustainer of all the points of sunrise! 5 Behold, We have adorned the skies nearest to the earth with the beauty of stars, 6 And (there is) a safeguard against every rebellious Shaitan. 7 So that they are not able to listen to the angels of higher (echelons), and are pelted from all sides 8 and driven away to suffer the necessary torment. 9 Some of them who stealthily steal words from the heavens are pursued by a glistening flame. 10 Just ask their opinion: are they the more difficult to create, or the (other) beings We have created? Them have We created out of a sticky clay! 11 Nay, but thou dost marvel when they mock 12 And when they are reminded, they pay no attention. 13 and, when they see a sign, would scoff; 14 And they say: "This is nothing but evident magic! 15 "What! when we die, and become dust and bones, shall we (then) be raised up (again) 16 along with our forefathers?" 17 Proclaim, “Yes, and with disgrace.” 18 There is but one Shout, and lo! they behold, 19 And will say, “O our misfortune!” It will be said to them, “This is the Day of Justice.” 20 This is the Day of Separation, which ye used to deny. 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
