With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace. 47 And the earth have We laid out, how gracious is the Spreader (thereof)! 48 And of everything We have created pairs; perhaps you will take heed. 49 So turn to God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 50 And set not up with God another god; I am a clear warner from Him to you. 51 Likewise, there came no messenger to those before them, but they said, "He is a sorcerer or a madman." 52 Have they handed this down from one to another? No, rather, they are an insolent nation. 53 So turn away thou from them, not thou art blameworthy. 54 And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humans for nothing else but that they may serve Me; 56 I want no sustenance from them nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 for, verily, God Himself is the Provider of all sustenance, the Lord of all might, the Eternal! 58 And indeed, for those who have wronged is a portion [of punishment] like the portion of their predecessors, so let them not impatiently urge Me. 59 For, woe unto those who are bent on denying the truth - [woe] on the Day which they have been promised 60
