The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the heaven adorned with big stars. 1 By the promised Day (of Judgment); 2 by the witness and the witnessed, 3 That accursed are the men of the trench 4 The people of the fuelled blazing fire. 5 when they were seated over it 6 and they were witnesses of what they did to the believers 7 whom they hate for no other reason than that they believe in God, the Almighty, the One to whom all praise is due, 8 [and] to whom the dominion of the heavens and the earth belongs. But God is witness unto everything! 9 Verily, as for those who persecute believing men and believing women, and thereafter do not repent, hell's suffering awaits them: yea, suffering through fire awaits them! 10 Surely for those who believe and do the right are gardens with rivers running by. That is the greatest success. 11 The grip of your Lord is indeed severe, 12 Indeed it is He Who initiates and redoes. 13 and He is the Forgiving and Loving One. 14 – the Lord of the Glorious Throne, 15 and the Most Effective in His decision. 16 Has the story of the armies reached you, 17 Pharaoh and Thamood? 18 In fact the disbelievers are in denial. 19 although Allah surrounds them. 20 Nay! This is a Glorious Quran, 21 (Preserved) on the guarded tablet. 22
