Al-Qaare'ah

The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

OH, the sudden calamity! 1 What is the Clatterer. 2 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Calamity is! 3 The day when men will be like scattered moths. 4 and the mountains will be like fluffy tufts of wool.... 5 Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 But as for him whose scales are light, 8 His refuge will be an abyss. 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 (It is) a hot blazing Fire! 11
