▼ 15 The Hijjr Valley
Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
We have made constellations in the sky and decorated them for the onlookers. 16 We have protected them from every condemned devil, 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and him there followeth a flame gleaming. 18 As for the earth, We have stretched it out and have cast on it firm mountains, and have caused to grow in it everything well-measured. 19 And We have made for you therein means of living and [for] those for whom you are not providers. 20 And there is not of aught but with Us are the treasures thereof, and We send it not down save in a measure known 21 And We loose the winds fertilising, and We send down out of heaven water, then We give it to you to drink, and you are not its treasurers. 22 And verily We! it is We who give life and death, and We shall be the survivors. 23 To Us are known those of you who hasten forward, and those who lag behind. 24 Assuredly it is thy Lord Who will gather them together: for He is perfect in Wisdom and Knowledge. 25
